The Hepsia Control Panel features a fully featured database management GUI, which will give you complete control over your databases. You can easily set up brand new MySQL and PgSQL databases and administer them through the phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin database management tools respectively.
An Easy-to-Use Interface
With the Database Manager user interface, you can set up a new DB in a matter of seconds - simply specify its name and that's it. You will see a list of all your databases and their respective sizes. You will be able to edit passwords, to create backup files and to even log in to the phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin database management tools.
Simple Database Backups
It is quite essential to create frequent backups of your databases to protect your website content and to avoid any unexpected loss of data. With the Database Manager, creating a database backup file is extremely easy. Simply click the Backup button next to the database you would like to back up and you will be momentarily taken to the File Manager from where you can download your freshly created backup file.
MySQL and PgSQL Databases
The number of PgSQL and/or MySQL databases that you can set up differs depending on the shared hosting plan that you have chosen. While MySQL is a very popular database management system utilized by 1 000 000's of users all around the world, PostgreSQL is looked upon as being a more advanced database management system and is mostly utilized by technically experienced website administrators.
